Braeden and Mary

I stole this from Whitney's blog :) It looked like something fun to fill out.
1. Where did you meet?
We met at The Home Depot. I had been working there for almost a year as a cashier when he started in the Lumber Dept.

2. What was the first thing that went through your head when you met?
My first comment to a co-worker was "He is going to be my next boyfriend".

3. Do you remember what he was wearing?
He was in a white polo, jeans and ball cap.

He had just gotten off work and I was at the returns desk helping a customer. He waited until I was free and walked up and asked what I was doing Saturday night. ( I was so FREAKING excited!!)

9. How did he ask you to be his girlfriend?
After dating for three weeks, I met his family for the time and that same day he told me that he loved me...I think that sealed the deal :)

13. What was the most expensive thing they have given you?
My wedding ring that he designed. I love it!

14. Do you have a song?
At the beginning.

15. What is the thing you do that gets you on his nerves...
I tend to get offended easy...I am trying so hard to not!

Probably money.

Lil bug

Every so often Camryn will wake up during the night and we will just bring her in the bed with us. It is so much easier to just let her fall back asleep with us. That doesn't happen often but sometimes she just wants to snuggle. She will always with out fail get as close to you as she can. I will be on the edge of the bed and she is right there with me. She has also started to sleep on her face and it is so funny. I was worried about it at first but she does fine on her belly. We always put her to bed on her back but she will roll over on her side and then to her face. Last night she woke up around 5 and Braeden was already gone for work so I got her and laid her in bed with me. When I got up an hour later she was completly out and she looked quite content on her face.
I then moved the pillow that was in front of her face and she was still out. It was so funny, I had to take some pictures to show Braeden.
Also, her hair is getting so long and I love it. Yesterday I put her hair in little pig tails behind her ears. They were SO CUTE!! She screamed while I did it but it was worth it :) By the time we got to my moms one was sticking staright up and the other one was still in-tact LOL She has laid on the one side the whole ride LOL. This morning I decided to put her hair in pig tails again, she only started to pull away during the second one. I think that means that she is liking it more and more. :) She really looks so grown up with them. I tried to get a picture of the back of her hair and she thought that it was a game and she would turn her head from side to side. She just laughed so I gave up for today. I am determined to get a good one soon.

I have been thinking about all the things that I take for granted lately. The things that I am so grateful for.
One is my husband, I don't think he knows how much I need and appreciate him. He is such a good person. He is such a good example for me. He is a wonderful father, maybe a little rough with my little girl ;) He can not wait for a little boy, to wrestle, to teach how to play soccer and to just be his little man.
Another is the blessings of going to the temple. I have been trying to go to the temple as much as I can. It is hard sometimes in our busy lives. My friend from work has been so wonderful with wanting to go with me. I am going to try to make it a goal to go once a week. I always feel so refreshed when I go. I feel at peace with my self and feel that I can get through this crazy this crazy thing called life.
Camryn is my other blessing she is getting so big! It really is so crazy how time really flies when you are having fun. It seems like yesterday that I could just sit and feel her move in my belly. She will be one soon. I am really kind of sad that we don't have a baby anymore. She is a little girl! My father in-law keeps telling me that I just need to have another one. I don't think that I am quite ready for that but maybe soon. I am so grateful that everything has turned out good with her. When she was at Primary Children's Hospital for the first two weeks it was the longest two weeks of my life. The thought of actually loosing her was too much to bare. I don't know what I would do with out seeing her beautiful smile everyday, hearing her say mommy and even her being a little terd. I am ever so grateful for all the prayers that we received on her behalf. My heart goes out too all that have every experienced anything so heart breaking as loosing a child. I wish that there was something that I could do to ease your pain.
I am going to try to not take these wonderful things for granted. This is a crazy, scary and exciting life that we live. Lets try to make the best of it!

Daylight Savings...

I love the idea of daylight savings but when I got out of bed this morning it was still dark. I am not loving that part. If it is dark outside, I should still be in bed...right? I know that I am going to love having it lighter in the evenings. One of my favorite things about spring and summer is how late you can stay outside and it still be warm and light. I am sure that most everyone feels the same way. This is just going to take a few days to get used to.
Soccer game Saturday night, we won 8 to 5. Braeden scored 5 goals! It was a really good game. After the game we had a wedding reception to go to. It was for a guy in our ward that Braeden grew up with. We hurried to my moms where we quickly showered and got changed for the reception. We made it in the last little bit and got to see the couple off.
It makes me think of our reception. I am really glad that; that is over with. It was wonderful and everything but it gets to the point where you just want to get out of there. The groom kept looking at his watch and we just had to laugh. I think that all grooms and couples get that way. We wish them the best in their new life together.

A normal Saturday

Saturdays bring cleaning, laundry and trying to play outside or be active. I am not a fan of doing laundry. I have no problem sorting, putting it in the washer, changing the batch but when I have to actually put it away.. yuck. Its a good thing that I end up putting it away though LOL Cleaning is a given every Saturday. When you work 40 hour weeks Saturday is the only day to really get the good cleaning done. Thank goodness for Sundays...I really enjoy being home with the family not doing much.
As for being active...Braeden and I play on a co-ed soccer team every Saturday. That is something that we look forward to every weekend. Our first game of the new season was last week. We won 8 to 2 :) It was a great way to start the season. We have to have at least 2 girls on the field during the game. There was me and another girl that showed yes we played for 40 mintues straight. It was a huge plus that she scored three times helping us win. I have only ever scored once...I am working on it LOL I think that I have come a long way...I had never played until we started dating. Braeden said I have gotten you think he just says that? LOL
Until next time...time to change a batch.

New to blogging...

Hello everyone. We are new to blog, most everyone has one so why not us! A little bit about us. Braeden and I were married in November of 2008. We have a wonderful daughter named Camryn. She is 11 months old and quite the handful. We have two akitas, Kiwi and Kodi we have had them since we were first married.
Braeden is going to school at UVU for his associates in University Studies. I am just working for now. Eventually I would like to go back to school, not sure what I would major in quite yet. My mother in-law and my mom switch off watching Camryn during the week. She gets a lot of attention and is very spoiled. She has started to crawl, we are really in for some trouble. She isn't very fast...yet.
I will post pcitures soon....until then....
